Why is it that this is not allowed?

So I want to enter the huck fin rail jam and big air competition and I would like to know why the rules for entering the competition say you are not allowed to do inverts. My friend said that you're not allowed to do any inverts at local comps and I wanted to know why that was because I can front flip and he said it's not allowed in the big air comp. Thanks!!
