Help with MS150 nutrition?

First off for the heat get cycling shorts and jerseys. They will help keep you much cooler. If you can ride 50-60 miles you should have a pretty good idea of what to eat and drink. It's a good idea to load up on carbs the day before a long ride something like pasta is the best. Have a lite breakfast, oat meal, orange juice, piece of toast and coffee. Most rides are supported with food and drink. Fill up you water bottles and grab a few bites at each station. That night load up on pasta again for the next day. I like to carry some Good and Plenty on long rides. Eat a few every couple of miles to keep your energy level up. Some people like jelly beans or bit of honey. You want to start out slow and get warmed up. You want to avoid racing or going to hard and ride at your own pace.
