Need advice on something with friends?

If someone tells you something in confidence, you should not tell anyone... no matter who that person is or how much you trust them. That is betraying the person on some kind of a level. What if you told someone who you trusted something really important to you and then they went out and told their friends? How would you feel? It's just not a good situation to be in and you will find your friend distancing themselves from you. Just keep things to yourself, and be a good friend.
