There is a rumor at school that I'm gay?

......and it isn't true. It really hurts my feelings. I heard two girls talking about me. One of them said "Hey, didn't you know Lacey is gay?" and stuff like that. And everyone actually believes it. The only reason they think I'm gay is because I have a very close relationship with one of my female teachers. What should I do?
